Sitting with Grief — A Steady Place to Be with Loss


Grief is not something we move through and leave behind.  It is an ongoing process of learning to live with the changing realities of loss.


At Strong & Stable, grief support is rooted in presence, steadiness, and nervous-system safety. 


This work is not about fixing grief or accelerating healing. It is about creating a stable foundation where you can sit with your emotions as they are — without pressure to be okay, productive, or resolved.


I offer grief companionship and presence-based support for individuals navigating loss, illness, life transitions, and bereavement. 


Together, we focus on grounding, emotional regulation, and compassionate attention, allowing strength and meaning to emerge naturally over time.


Ways we may work together include:


  • Presence-based grief companionship
     
  • Mindful walks and nature-based support
     
  • Equine-facilitated grief support (for local, in-person clients)
     
  • Mindfulness and breath-based practices
     
  • Gentle, presence-focused coaching
     

This work may support you in:


  • Finding steadiness while living with grief
     
  • Moving toward a sense of “okayness” without bypassing pain
     
  • Reconnecting with meaning, balance, and inner resources
     
  • Honoring grief as ongoing while continuing to live fully
     
  • Moving forward at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable
     

This is a place to pause, ground yourself, and draw strength — not by pushing grief away, but by learning to live alongside it with care.
